I am starting to realize that part of constructing one's career, professional identity, self-entity; is here, writing this, grabbing your attention, keeping you interested and sharing a little bit of me with you. Writing has taken off in a big way and now, writing is profound, found everywhere, and sometimes complete crap too. Writing is definitely who I am, who I have always been, and who I will always be. Writing is now viral, it is specific, about food and fashion, the mainstream is trying to use writing to alienate us, it will always do so, for you see, when something becomes a fad, those powers that be only see it as another pond among many. The social networking platform can be thought of in two ways, another alienation to mankind, an instrument human beings use to compare one another. And or a great instrument to connect us all, to unite us, to break down the walls and give us the opportunity to see our vulnerabilities, our destruction and our creation! But guess who must make the latter come true? The writers, the professors, intellectuals, part time teachers who have been pushed out of higher ed over and over due to her femaleness and fearlessness to speak up. OPPS, never mind that last one. This can either be a radical moment for human evolution or it can be our doom. Anybody has a place where ideas and accessibility to ideas are vital.
Listen here though, while I sit here writing this, you only see this part of me. What I choose to say in my writing defines who I am to you. Which means I am all powerful and when a writer has the opportunities they have today, real writers are going to EMBRACE IT! And once the intellectual revolution is underway, then what shall follow? Who knows actually the world is very overpopulated and no one cares about anyone but themselves.
Just remember this, the writer, the author is always rattled. Rattling you, the writers need to express thoughts as they emerge in a trance and complete submission to language alone, we are in an age of doom and possibility. For you see, you don't know me, what my intentions are, yet I am telling you that I am simply a writer, a compiler of syntax and a maker of semantics. What does that really mean? I am not sure yet, for in my writing I am emerging as an individual and using writing to aide me in my development. Writing is my coping mechanism as I tread among our little society. America so young and eager to emerge as it writes its history. And my people been written outta history so there is still a lot more rewriting to work on...
